The Little Touches, that make a BIG difference ...
I think, when travelling, people have certain NON-NEGOTIABLES; whether that be from the bigger things like a swimming pool or hot tub, a large family living room, even a games room. Or it could be something more simple - such as access to some good books and a warm fire.
In our quaint little cottage down the well known "Squeezy Belly Alley", all linked by cobbled alleys and neat cottages with white washed walls; we have decided to try some new approaches with the hope to display that "the little touches are sometimes the things that make the BIGGEST differences".
YOUR MORNING WAKE UP CALL - TO A BETTER COFFEE:
Our coffee provides not only your morning shot of caffeine, but also your "shot" of helping the environment through every cup you drink - I don't know about you but that seems pretty incredible.
That is why we leave all of our guests a sample of different flavoured coffee pods, from intense to creamy to those with a touch of something a little more eclectic. These little pods full of your morning wake up call are supplied by The Wonky Coffee Company!
I tried many pods before stumbling across this company, and actually found that their ethos and the way they work to help with the environment gave even more reason to use them at Kildare for our guests. Even more reason, other than the fact they taste amazing!

This company may be small but they are achieving big things so far, providing uses for dented coffee pods, surplus pods, those which just haven't made the cut - so far they have rescued over 400,000 kilos (and counting) of coffee pods from ending up in landfill - which can only be a good thing! (Figures as at 10/01/2025)
Trust us when we say they are delicious, they are doing good, their branding is quirky, which fits in perfectly with our little cottage and they certainly ensure a great start to ANY day. Why not give them a look up online and then go ahead and follow them on social media.
